By fans, for fans
The night belongs to !
From the opening bell to the final pick.
Picks go in before the show, then you sweat it out. Who wins, how does the match end, what happens next? Until it starts the picks stay under wraps – afterwards it shows who had the best instincts.
What it is about
Watching turns into .
A match simply feels different when ten people have put their picks in beforehand. Suddenly every nearfall, every surprise and every damn kickout counts for a little more. That is what Tippmania is about: picking together, sweating it out together – and arguing about it for days afterwards over why you were obviously right all along.
Wrestling deserves a prediction game of its own
Until now every wrestling group had to organise itself somehow: notes on the table, some spreadsheet, rules only one person really knows – and after the main event somebody is still sitting there adding up points while everyone else has long moved on to arguing about the night.
Yet wrestling is made for a prediction game. It is not only about who wins. It is about how. By pin? Submission? Interference? A surprise return? And how long does the match even last?
That is where Tippmania comes in. You pick beforehand, you sweat it out together – and the moment the final bell rings, it is settled who really had the best instincts that night.
kinds of question, the ones a wrestling night actually asks
deadline, the same one for everybody
nights where somebody still adds up points by hand
How it works
One night, four steps
From the questionnaire to the standings – and in between exactly what was agreed beforehand.
Nobody types out the match card.
Which events are coming up and which matches are announced is pulled from the leagues’ Wikipedia articles. The card usually appears there three to four weeks before the night – so the sync can be repeated until it is there.
It never pulls in the answer
After the event Wikipedia rewrites the same card: “A vs. B” becomes “A defeated B by pinfall”. The app recognises exactly that and then takes nothing.
It overwrites nothing
A repeated sync only adds what is missing. Existing questions stay as they are – along with the picks already made on them.
The Chief Content Officer has the last word
Nothing is adopted on its own. Every question is reviewed, reworded or discarded before the event starts.
stip1 = World Heavyweight Championship
World Heavyweight Championship – who wins?
Closed is closed – and not just on screen.
The deadline is enforced by the database, not by the interface. That is not a technical detail but the heart of the matter: a pick that could still be changed afterwards would not be a pick. And only once it is closed do other people’s picks become visible at all.
Until then nobody sees what the others wrote – not even the Chief Content Officer.
Question types
The art of asking
A wrestling night cannot be captured with “home, draw, away”. So there are ten kinds of question – each with its own input and its own scoring.
Match – winner
Who wins? “Draw / No-Contest” is always among the options.
Single choice
Options a) to z), exactly one of them is correct.
Multiple choice
Several correct answers. Points per hit, no penalty for a miss.
Time range
How long does the match last? You pick a span of time.
Estimate
A free number. Only the closest pick scores.
Ordering
Put entries in the right order – one point per correct position.
Name X …
Several free entries, say five returns of the night.
Open question
Free text with no fixed answer. The Chief Content Officer awards the points.
Multiple fields
Related sub-questions – who pins, who gets pinned. Each field scores on its own.
Bingo
A grid of events. Points per complete row or column.
Plus one bonus event per season spanning the whole year – questions that can only be answered at the end.
All question types in detail →Standings and statistics
The score is only the beginning
Who led how often, who struggles with which league, which question type suits whom: the analysis goes beyond the plain table.
Season progress
Place after every event – who stayed on top and who fought their way up.
By league and question type
Where your strengths are – and where they are not.
Overall table
Match, bonus and stipulation – plus events as first and as last.
History
The final tables of past seasons, along with their specialists.
Points are written down when the event is scored. If the House Rules change later, past seasons stay exactly as they were played.
Titles
Four belts. Four stories
What you win, stays. A season runs across several events – and at the end the titles are handed out: gold, silver and bronze for the best. And because at Tippmania even last place does not go home empty-handed, one very special belt is waiting at the bottom.

Undisputed Universal
Win the season and the gold is yours.

Continental
Silver – second place in the final table.

Cruiserweight
Bronze – that stays in the profile too.

Loserweight
And whoever finishes last gets something as well. Just nothing nice.
Every title lands in your profile for good, in the cabinet under “Championships”. Once you have carried the Undisputed Universal Championship, you carry it there forever – and whoever picked up the Loserweight Championship will not shake it off in a hurry either.
There is also the Hall of Fame: leaving does not remove you from the record, your tally is filed there.
For the group
The match ends. The argument does not.
The final bell rang long ago – but the prediction game keeps going. Who was right? Who was completely off? And who is still complaining the next morning that this one question was obviously unfair?
